In this section, look for some of the associated ordinary connective tissue that helps to organize the internal structure of muscle. The endomysium is the connective tissue surrounding an individual muscle fibre. The perimysium is the connective tissue surrounding a bundle or fascicle of muscle cells. The pimysium surrounds the whole muscle.
