40-year old male with a chest lesion.

Case Discussion

With a rather colloquial name, “venous lakes” represent capillary aneurysms, characterized by ectatic superficial blood vessels, in the superficial dermis. These lesions can occur as multiple lesions in sun-exposed areas, and they can clinically mimic melanoma.
