Liver lesion identified during colonic resection for cancer.

Case Discussion

Biliary hamartomas consist of dilate / tortuous bile ducts within a dense stroma. They are typically incidental findings, small, multiple and can occur anywhere within the liver. They are benign but can be confused with metastatic adenocarcinoma, especially when examined during frozen section.
