Case Discussion

Dedifferentiated liposarcoma is a malignant soft tissue tumour that can be difficult to diagnose owing the relative lack of a clear adipocytic component. It most commonly involves the retroperitoneum. The features are of an intermediate to high-grade spindle cell sarcoma. In this case, meningothelial whorls and metaplastic bone can also be seen.
