Case Discussion

Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a B-cell neoplasm, where the Reed Sternberg (RS) cells are often derived from a B-cell with a "crippled" immunoglobulin gene. WHO classification divides HL into two large categories: classical and nodular lymphocyte-predominant. While the classical type is defined by the RS cells, they are absent in the nodular lymphocyte-predominant type. Among the classical HLs, different subtypes exist, and this case is that of nodular sclerosis type.

Other examples of Hodgkin Lymphoma are: LMP80112, LMP90590, LMP72157 (see Related Content section).
