Case Discussion

Granulosa cell tumour is a low‐grade malignancy of the ovary, containing various cells of the ovarian follicle. Granulosa cell tumours vary greatly in size, and occur over a wide age range. They are positive for calretinin and inhibin (see Supplemental images in the Related Content section). A reticulin silver stain shows loss of reticulin within nested clusters of tumour cells (a link to the H&E stain is included in the Related Content section).
