Case Discussion
Trichofolliculoma is a pilar tumour that is characterized by a central dilated / cystic follicles with radiating branches of smaller follicles. The follicles may demonstrate varying degrees of maturation from rudimentary structures to those exhibiting anagen, catagen, and telogen phases.
The sebaceous trichofolliculoma (as seen in this case) is a variant which also demonstrates foci of sebaceous differentiation in addition to the typical features of trichofolliculoma.
