Endometrium, endometrial polyp

Endometrial polyps are common, and may either be asymptomatic or a cause of abnormal bleeding. Polyps can have a wide range of epithelial changes, and it is common to have areas that raise the possibility of non‐atypical hyperplasia. However, cystic and crowded glands that can be seen within a polyp should not be interpreted as “simple hyperplasia”, but rather should be considered within the acceptable range of a benign polyp.
